And it's another beautiful sunny day here in Paradise. In bed just after 1, up around 9:30. Nice and rested.
I am concerned with the poor folks in Houston who've had to bear the brunt of Hurricane Harvey, and the poor folks in southern-central Florida for the anticipation of Hurricane Irma.
A couple years ago I got to spend a week in Florida(St Pete Beach, Tampa area), and at least during the Winter months, it's everything it's cracked up to be. The bluest sky I'd seen in all my days, and also the clearest water. Absolutely gorgeous. Indeed, a Paradise. An expensive Paradise, but still Paradise- if you can afford it!
Music News. Nothing for the rest of the week, a gig next Saturday(see the Gigs page if interested)and one the Saturday following. So that will make a whopping 4 for the month of September.
Actually, 3 or 4 in a month is just right. Like the Swedish Law of Lagom(lagom means 'just right', one of their social mores)the gigs are just so..
I think it boils down to your basic personality. A more extroverted individual would thrive on the crowds and noise, the very stuff that sends me packing. He or she would feel more drained in a solitary situation, whereas I would re-charge in that very state.
That said, probably a day of guitar playing, here in the music laboratory. Anything salvageable I'll be glad to share on good old YouTube.
As ever, thanks for reading, whoever-you-are. Happy Friday to you- especially if you've just put in a work week! More later.
