    Another Peaceful Monday

Cool Looks like it's gonna be a rainy week. Overcast skies and a general feeling of impending doom--er, I mean rain. In bed at 1:16am, up at 9:51am. Much dream activity, the only part of which I remember is dreaming I was awake and looking at the clock. The giveaway here is that I turn the clock around before turning out the lights to go to sleep. It's happened before. which is why I didn't fall for it. My mind playing a prank on me. Nice try..
Yesterday was a pretty good guitar day. A fair amount of practice. I even recorded a bit, and uploaded one of them to YouTube. It's a ballad I like to play. Polkadots and Moonbeams. The arrangement I do on it is a little tricky, and I was afraid of screwing up. But I didn't, thank goodness.
Deep into the 6th season of Orange is the New Black. In the wake of the riot at the end of season 5, the girls have all been placed in the Maximum Security facility up the hill. A whole host of new(and much badder) individuals to deal with now. And the new environment comes with a new power structure, and thus new rules that have to be learned.
I like the back stories they give you on the inmates, how they happened to make that one Bad Decision or series of them, that put them in this place. One such individual, first introduced as a loathsome figure, you start to feel compassion towards, which replaces(or at least dilutes)the original hatred. Compassion trumps hate. This character is still obnoxious as can be, but she's easier to handle when you know why she's acting the way she does.
Feeling a little bit decadent staying in bed until almost 10. Nine in the morning feels about right. Eight is too early and ten is too late. I try to keep my hours at least somewhat regulated. Makes for better sleeping, and thus better functioning. And thus more enjoyable living.
This is more than enough outa me for now. Thanks for reading, whoever-reads-this. Happy(or at least tolerable)Monday to you. More later.
