    Wednesday Whitewash

CoolAnother cloudy day, as we begin our descent into Winter. Usually the downward spiral begins right after Thanksgiving, but it looks like it's already started.Tossed and turned last night, but somehow got some bonafide shuteye in there. Feeling functional..

The Winter is my least favorite season, but there are two positives. I don't have to go to work anymore, so it's not necessary to scrape off the vehicle in the morning and trudge off in the cold. And I usually don't shave for Winter, so that's one less ablution. Well, until Spring, when I have all that white hair to extricate from my face.
Music News. Yesterday was a pretty good practice day. I even came up with something I ended up posting on YouTube.
It's a technical exercise in a bright triple-meter, sounds like a Gigue from the Baroque period. Not messing too much with the playalongs right now- though I have been goofing with Chick Corea's Spain, starting to remember more of it. For the most part, though,  I'm more inclined just to use a metronome and work on picking and related stuff.
Also got a handful of new pieces home-recorded. Gotta get back over to the other side of the room and continue the creative frenzy.
The Sun has made a few appearances this morning, but I think it's just a cameo as far as that goes. Trying not to get my hopes up. More to just accept the shitty weather for what it is.
Well that's all I've got on this sun n' clouds Wednesday. Thanks for reading, whoever-reads-this. More later.
