    Saturday

Frown Back to the cloudy skies. In bed at 12:15, up at 5:30, 7 and 9.  Troubled sleep perhaps, but still sleep. The usual dream scenarios which faded upon awakening but remain in my bones. I was 'there' doing something or other...
A one-hour gig today at 2. Back to Montvale Estates. The Assisted Living Tour. Out of 4 gigs this month, 2 actually happened. One was at Erin's Pavilion, one is in about 3 hours, one cancelled out from under us, and one I couldn't make.
Nothing for April at this point. One in May. Things will fill in as they need to. Still shedding on the guitar, most every day. Missed yesterday, but it was still a Day of Virtue in that I got in a full workout with my weights, something I hadn't done in awhile. Had I practiced as well, it'd be a Day of Sterling Virtue. (I reward myself for my industry with stoopid titles like that).
A shitty, gloomy day out there. Don't feel much like getting out in it, but the gig should be fun once we're underway. And it's a trip out of the house, something that didn't get done yesterday.
                          ************************
A fun hour of playing. Some of the things we did were standard Easter fare, but we did a few tunes as well which involved some improv. That's what makes it for me, getting to express myself on a few things, as long as there's a good interaction with the musicians.  And I do enjoy playing for the residents. They're getting to know me a little bit from all my appearances with the three-or-so groups who play there.
I guess I had more to add today. Thanks for reading, whoever-reads-this. Happy Saturday to you. More later.
