    Another Peaceful Monday

CoolA gig tomorrow in Jacksonville for an hour. Another Nursing Home gig. Drive half an hour, play for an hour, and then drive half an hour back home. So it's essentially a two-hour gig. Still, pretty light work. And it's on a Tuesday.

As it turns out, I don't have to have a colonoscopy on Thursday. Just an office visit prepping me for it. Relieved that it's not 3 days from now, even though I still have to go through with it. That sentiment got a laugh out of the lady I talked to on the phone.
Some shedding yesterday, and one halfway decent thing up on YouTube. It's called Groove du Jour. I've been messing with some different ways to play over the changes, and it's easiest to practice when there's only one change. I used to hate one-chord shit, but it does have value: a basic post for beginners to sharpen their claws on; and a basis for non-beginners to work out different ideas.
And that'll do 'er for now on this Monday. I like that Mondays are now nice quiet days, sometimes just a continuation of Sunday. Happy Monday, if that's possible. Thanks for reading, whoever-reads-this. More later.
