Minor derailment, but back on the track

Cool And another good night's sleep. Monday was pretty good. Yesterday was a bit rough. And today is just fine. This has been a bitch of a Winter. About half of February and the beginning of March really sucked.
Coming back from it though. Much more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning. Lots of dreams, which largely faded upon awakening but still left remnants for me to piece over.
I love this part of the day. Early morning, an actual sunny day out there, drinking that first cup of Morning Joe--and wonderfully bereft of morning people who would harsh my mellow with their jabbering.
Music news. A rehearsal of sorts this evening, a gig on Sunday. My Gretsch guitar is being repaired, due to some intonation problems, and also re-strung. Old strings start to slip out of tune after awhile, which is when any sensible person would change them.
Retirement is still great, but there is a lot of maintenance involved. You have to keep yourself "regular" as far as diet and exercise. Deviations from the above seem to wreak more havoc for an older guy- at least this older guy. So I'm doing my best to maintain.
Not much else to say, except that I'm okay. Good morning, good morning. Paraphrasing an old Beatles tune there. Thanks for reading, whoever-reads-this. More later.
